As I have been watching the two most recent trailers on a loop for the past couple of weeks I thought now would be a good time to rank my top 5 Doctor Who trailers of all time.
Series 1
Where it all began and oh yes Doctor, I wanna come with you! I have mentioned before, the return clashed with my 'going out' years so I didn't actually see this advert air on BBC in the run up to the show returning. However, it is a great trailer, and I can only begin to imagine how excited people would of been seeing this
60th Anniversary Specials
This trailer felt like a massive event, a big statement of intent from RTD and the show. We are going big here, we have money, and we aren't afraid to use it.
Series 4 Mid Series
Irrational fears of the dark, the music, Wilf, Rose, a glimpse of Davros, and it was only just beginning, hell yes this was good.
50th Anniversary Special
Cinema!!!! A truly, truly gorgeous trailer. So many things to look out for, and I adored it right down to the #SAVETHEDAY popping up to the beat of the music.
Series 6
Ee Ba Gum indeed!! I honestly dread to think how many times I watched this one. It was a lot!! This is the trailer that got me the most excited for a series. It looked epic - and don't forget - "fear me, I've killed of them".
What trailers got your juices flowing through the years?
