I seem to do a lot of my reviews and then complain about something unrelated to the show? What can I complain about this time? Maybe something will crop up as I type. Here is my review of The Sontaran Stratagem and The Poison Sky, with potentially some angry rambling about something else.
First things first, Martha is back! Yippee! That said I am more a fan of companion Martha than UNIT Martha. Martha is too bloody nice to be a soldier!!
"Doctor? It’s Martha. And I’m bringing you back to Earth."
Bernard Cribbins and Catherine Tate are perfect together aren't they? Every single scene they are in melts my heart. I love how Sylvia can rock up at any moment and just bollock one of them for not putting the bins out or doing the washing as well, I love the Noble family.
Bernard has a magic way of waving as well that is just the best, two hands, slightly vulnerable, I don't now how he does it, but I bloody love his wave, a lot!! I'd go as far as saying it is the greatest wave I have ever seen.

The Sontarans aren't quite as menacing as the Daleks or Cybermen, and are done with slightly more comedy than the other two, so the return of them wasn't quite as spectacular.
It is actually surprising we haven't seen more of them. We had Strax and War of the Sontarans (love Strax and War of the Sontarans is great) but that is about it in the ten series since this.

The Doctor's battles with Colonel Mace are quite amusing. He does tell everyone not to use guns then blow the shit out of the Sontarans though.
Ah, something I can grumble about!! This week I had the misfortune of coming across a woman called Valentina Gomez on X, the woman is fucking vile!! Anyway, she had a video out being a very angry young lady where she blamed school shootings in America on people who are trans. From the video I think anyone who was trans was blamed. I honestly struggled to watch it she's that vile!!
As mentioned many times, maybe I shouldn't be commenting. That didn't stop me having a quick check though, I found out that despite this woman's claim, only 0.11% of mass school shootings were carried out by someone who would be classed as trans. In other words the woman is a fucking cunt! She's a cunt who is either thick as pig shit or telling porkie pies, or the third option that I actually think is the answer - thick as pig shit and also telling porkie pies!!
Anyway, in the video I had the misfortune of seeing the thick as pig shit one said that all school teachers should be armed to defend against all those trans shooters! How fucking insane is that?! You want to be a teacher in America then you have to be prepared to take lives!!! How about teaching children and improving their lives? Building their skills? Setting them up to be amazing people in whatever they choose to do? Nah fuck that, just make sure you can kill someone!!
I often wonder why I spend most of my life despising the human disgrace (as the Master once said) but I never have to look far to remember why I do!!
I mean the most bizarre thing about it is the facts are there. The countries that don't allow any old plum to have a gun have zero mass shootings! Madness isn't it? Yet a lot of Americans don't think this is the answer!?!? If you could pop to your local Home Bargains or Tesco Express and get a gun here in the UK I'm pretty sure there would be a lot of mass shootings going on here as well. Every place has a lot of people who have a lot of mental health issues, every place has a lot of people who are cunts, it would happen here, it would happen anywhere!!
I think the absolute most horrendous thing about this is - the vile cunt makes money from spouting this shit!! If Hitler was alive today he would pay Elon Musk his £8 a month or whatever it is and make a shit load of money. Yeah he might get the odd tweet deleted now and again, but he would be pretty free to spew whatever the fuck he wanted out into the world! Imagine how many more people he would of reached if he operated today?
Not a good thought to end on so I'll get back to Doctor Who now!!!!

It is Luke who actually saves the day in the end. We didn't get enough of him for this to be a great pay off in my opinion. There was a lot going on. Doctor, Donna, UNIT, Sontarans, Martha 1, Martha 2, poor old Private Harris and Ross. I did enjoy his performance though none the less.
Martha and Donna's reactions are priceless when the Doctor comes back intact from the Sontaran spaceship.
Finally, I wish we had more endings like this. It's always fun to get a lead up into the following week, make it happen every time Russell!!!! Or at least give me arrows in the TARDIS from previous episodes, something, anything!!
