These are a few of my favorite things...
As a LEGO enthusiast, I love imagining what my favourite shows, things, films, and obsessions hobbies could look like as LEGO sets. Here’s my dream lineup of LEGO sets based on my favorite things. I haven't included any Doctor Who or Disney things, I have already talked about them.
Breaking Bad: The RV Meth Lab
This set would feature Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s iconic RV with an opening roof to reveal their makeshift lab. Minifigures could include Walt, Jesse, Saul Goodman, and maybe even Hank Schrader. Bonus points for tiny LEGO blue crystals!
Dexter: The Dark Passenger
Not very LEGO to have a set of a kill room, but this is my blog so I can dream right? Dexter's appartment could be a good one, very similar to the Friends, Office and Big Bang Theory sets. Don't forget the blood slides behind the air con unit. Minifigures could include Dexter, Debra, plus lets chuck in the top tier villains - The Ice Truck Killer and Trinity.
Retro Football: 1990s Pitch Playset
This set could celebrate 1990s football with a classic pitch, retro kits, and iconic players. How about Eric Cantona jumping over some advertising hoardings, a Ronaldo complete with shit haircut, and of course a crying Paul Gascoigne minifigure.
Red Dwarf: Starbug
A detailed Starbug model with interiors like Lister’s messy bunk, Rimmer's swimming certificate and a tiny Cat wardrobe room would be brilliant. Minifigures could include Lister, Rimmer, Cat, and Kryten, maybe if you swiveled their heads they could also become their alter egos - Dwayne Dibley, Ace Rimmer and co.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Camp
I don't really know what you could do with this, but perhaps the Van der Linde gangs camp? This game is everything, I dread to think of the amount of hours I spent on it. I have just finished Detroit: Become Human and the urge is there to get back on the saddle and start this again.
Forrest Gump Bench
How about a set that includes Forrest on the bench, a box of chocolate in hand, ready to talk to the next person waiting for the bus.
Rocky: The Training Montage
A LEGO set with Rocky’s training gear, a boxing ring, and iconic Philadelphia steps would be a knockout. Include minifigures of Rocky, Apollo Creed, and Dragoooooooo!!
