In my spare time I love to write. This is why I started this blog. I have never before put any of my writing into the general public, apart from a couple of poems for funerals. This brings me to a writers tale about some DWFanFic.
I am not sure if anyone even reads this blog, but just doing it has given me a bit of confidence, so I am going big! Well, big for me anyway!
Over the years I have started writing stories and then generally never finished them. Life always got in the way. Now though, I am determined to complete something and put it out there into the big, scary, wide world.
I was thinking about Doctor Who being in partnership with Disney now and this got me thinking about the Doctor being in the Disney Universe. There are so many stories and characters that could be explored so I thought why not plonk various Doctor's into different Disney stories.
I am adding the finishing touches to these - checking my songs work in Mary Poppins, debating if Yaz and the Doctor get it on, that kind of thing. I am hoping that I can get a talented Whovian to bring the stories to life with some art as well.
The plan is to release the stories over the Christmas week:
Monday 23rd December
Doctor What If...? Episode One - Fifteen in Mary Poppins
When Mary Poppins falls ill she turns to the Doctor to cover her job as nanny for the day. The Doctor is only too happy to help an old friend. However, what seems like a simple favour turns dangerous as a dark force lurks in the shadows of 17 Cherry Tree Lane.

Doctor What If...? Episode Two - Thirteen in Frozen
Yaz wants the Doctor to take her on a date, and eventually the Doctor agrees. Their destination? Arendelle, to witness the coronation of Princess Elsa. It seems like the perfect, magical outing - but with the Doctor involved, is a perfect and magical date even possible?

Doctor What If...? Episode Three - Nine in Indiana Jones
Indiana Jones and his student are on a quest to find the Order Stone - a legendary artifact said to predict every major event in human history. But they aren't the only ones searching the mysterious Cave of Fire. With Daleks, Nazis, and a mysterious man in a strange blue box also after the stone, the race is on to claim the powerful relic before it falls into the wrong hands.

Doctor What If...? Episode Four - Twelve in Up
It’s just another ordinary day for Carl and Dug - until a large envelope stuffed with letters appears in Carl's mailbox. With a heavy heart, Carl begins reading the letters and uncovers secrets about his past that he never expected.
I would love it if a few people read these, I cannot promise that they are going to be amazing but I have had such fun writing them. If one person enjoyed them I hope that would give me the confidence to carry on.
I have written three short stories for children that involves cats and rhyming, and I have a lot more Doctor Who stories that I would love to tell. I want the Doctor to have an autistic companion for an adventure, I want to carry on with my Doctor What If...? stories as well. Ten, Eleven and Fourteen need a story as well don't they?
I am mainly writing this to encourage me to finish, putting a bit of pressure on myself to complete it - I have put a date on them now!
We all know what they say - we're all stories in the end, just make it a good one, eh?
